Ξενοφών Ζολώτας
I eulogize the archons of
the Panethnic Numismatic Thesaurus and the Oecumenical Trapeza for the orthodoxy
of their axioms methods
and policies, although there is an episode of cacophony of
the Trapeza with Hellas.
Ο Ξενοφών Ζολώτας (1904-2004), οικονομολόγος, Διοικητής της Τράπεζας της Ελλάδος και Πρωθυπουργός στην περίοδο 1989-90, εκφώνησε δύο ιστορικές ομιλίες, στις 26 Σεπτεμβρίου 1957 και στις 2 Οκτωβρίου 1959 στην Ουάσιγκτον, με τις οποίες κατέδειξε την εννοιολογική και λεξιλογική παρουσία της ελληνικής γλώσσας στον χώρο των ευρωπαϊκών γλωσσών και ιδιαίτερα της αγγλικής. Οι ομιλίες γραμμέvες «σε άψογα ελληνικά», πλην άρθρων και προθέσεων,κατανοήθηκαν πλήρως από το αγγλόφωνο ακροατήριο, χωρίς μεταφράσεις και μεσολαβητές.

I eulogize the archons of
the Panethnic Numismatic Thesaurus and the Oecumenical Trapeza for the orthodoxy
of their axioms methods
and policies, although there is an episode of cacophony of
the Trapeza with Hellas.
With enthusiasm we dialogue
and synagonize at the synods
of our didymous Organizations
in which polymorphous economic
ideas and dogmas
are analyzed and syntherized.
Our critical problems such
as the numismatic plethora
generate some agony
and melancholy. This phenomenon
is charateristic of our epoch.
But, to my thesis we have the dynamism to program therepeutic
practices as a prophylacis
from chaos and catastrophe.
In parallel a panethnic unhypocritical economic synergy
and harmonization in a democratic
climate is basic. I
